Ormond Beach Florida

Welcome to the "birthplace of speed" and home to John D. Rockefeller, philanthropist and health nut. Along with being incorporated in 1880, residents and tourists alike are still allowed to drive on certain stretches of beaches.

During certain times of the year in Ormand Beach, The Historical Trust Trolley offers tours which introduces you to more than 30 historical buildings including the Three Chimneys Sugar Mill Ruins. This name comes from the number of chimneys built into structures used for processing sugar. These ruins which aren't normally open to the public can be viewed during this tour, and if you’re planning to move, Ormond Beach has recently been rated as one of the top 100 cities for relocation.

It was on a date back in 1880 at one the pioneers homes in which citizens decided to make Ormond Beach incorporated. As of today vehicles are still allowed to drive on certain stretches along the beach.  If you’re planning a trip to Ormond Beach, be sure to check out the Ormond Memorial Art Museum and Gardens which was founded by residents of this area to commemorate the World War II veterans.
